Psychotherapy for Adults, Parents and Children in California.

I work within a psychodynamic, relational framework. My clinical experiences have been supporting:

overwhelmed parents navigate issues around attachment and separation, emotional outbursts and ongoing negotiations of privacy and trust with their child;

children who are struggling to manage intense anxieties, using the language of play to work through emotional and physical dysregulation;

younger to older adults transitioning into different life stages and career cross-points because of the course of growing and aging, other times because of stagnation and loss.

I welcome those that are weathering an absence — due to loss(es), death of a loved one, relational rupture or at a transition — and for us to attempt meaning together, despite its tenaciousness. I also work with individuals that are wrestling with their bodies due to chronic illness(es), moderate to overwhelming forms of anxiety, for the latter, such as panic attacks, experiences where you are out of touch, or abrupt blankness in the mind that takes over thinking.
