Psychotherapy for Adults, Couples, Parents and Children in California.

I work within a psychoanalytic, relational framework. My clinical experiences have been supporting:

overwhelmed parents navigate issues around attachment, emotional outbursts and ongoing negotiations of separation and trust with their child;

children who are struggling to manage intense anxieties, using the language of play to work through emotional and physical dysregulation;

adults, including couples who are transitioning into different life stages, experiencing the ripple effects of overwhelming change and relational demands.

I offer a space for people who feel in-between; artists, immigrants, child of immigrants, or individuals who have fulfilled social demands of achievement on the outside but is often left feeling adrift inside.

I welcome those who are weathering an absence — whether it is due to the loss of a loved one, a home, or, the loss of never having had one — and to attempt meaning together, in spite of its tenaciousness. It may surface as panic attacks, a sudden blankness that takes over the mind, or a disconnect that is at times subtle, other times all-consuming, leaving you feeling depleted and at odds with yourself and the world around you.

I specialise in working with adults and children who have a tendency to withdraw into themselves. I am trained to listen deeply. I will challenge you with honesty, at other times with playfulness and humour.
